This morning I asked ChatGPT a question just for fun:

The answer made me smile.

It’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day—running a cranberry farm with my husband, caring for animals, writing books, and dreaming up adventures for Cranpup and his friends. But this answer reminded me why I doit all: because I believe kids are capable of great things. They’re full of imagination, resilience, and kindness—and they deserve stories that reflect that.
I’m so grateful for this life. I live and work on a cranberry farm on the Oregon coast, where nature is woven into every part of our story. It’s where Cranpup was born—with a head full of big ideas and a heart full of courage.
